Parenting1st and yourworklifebalance organise workshops, seminars and conferences for parents in the workplace include tailor made Working Parents Networks providing regular advice and guidance for employees.

Parenting Ist is run by David Fawcett. David has over 25 years experience working for major blue chip companies. As Community Relationship Manager for an international bank he was instrumental in setting up a series of Working Parents Networks, seminars and conferences on a variety of subjects including work life balance and parenting.

David is a partner on the Southampton Early Years Development Partnership where he chairs the Work Life Balance working group, he is a key member of the employers diversity group LEADER in both Southampton and the Isle of Wight and has worked closely with a number of charities and community groups over the years helping organise events, conferences and seminars.

He has worked with schools and colleges on a number of initiatives primarily based around introducing enterprise into schools and has worked with the educational charity Young Enterprise on a number of occasions. David was Chair of Governors at a challenging inner city secondary school for three years.

In 2004 David won an award at the Hampshire Disability awards for his work with work life balance.

David is an experienced conference and seminar speaker. He lives on the Isle of Wight with his wife Sarah and their two children.
